Re: Can we get admission into a Railway course via AIEEE?
Well sorry to say but AIEEE is for selecting students to various private and government
college.Through AIEEE students are get selected for NIT'S and other top colleges but not for the railways .. For that railway conducts their own exam call SCRA .SCRAs get a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering after successful completion of four years of training. Eligibility for SCRA: Candidates must have attained 17 years of age and should not more then 21 years You must have passed Intermediate or an equivalent examination in first or in second division with PCM(physics chemistry mathematics ) as subjects. Sorry to say but now you can't fill its form. The last date of sale of application form was :25.04.2011 (MONDAY) Date of examination is :31.07.2011 (SUNDAY) For more information :click here |

Quote:
Admission in the Railway course through AIEEE No, It is not possible to get a railway course through AIEEE entrance exam AIEEE entrance exam only for the admission in the engineering and technology course. You can not get any other course through AIEEE exam. You can appear in the SCRA exam which is help by UPSC in behalf of Ministry of Railway board for the admission in the Mechanical department of the Indian Railway. If you appear in the AIEEE exam and if you get good rank then you can get a college for the engineering & Technology course. You can not get any other course through AIEEE entrance exam.
