My 12th percentage is 60%. Which institute I can join from the best for Merchant Navy? And what is the procedure for the entrance and cut off for passing for best institutes? Please tell me.

After 12th, you can pursue anyone of the following Merchant Navy courses.

If you wish to become Deck Officer, then pursue

• B.Sc. Nautical Science (Duration: 3 years)
• Diploma in Nautical Science followed by B.Sc. Nautical Science

If you wish to join as a Rating, then pursue

• Pre Sea GP Rating course (Duration: 6 months)

If you wish to join the catering department, then pursue

• Maritime Catering Course (Duration: 6 months)
• B.Sc. Marine Engineering (Duration: 3 years)

To be eligible for above courses, you must have at least 50% marks in English and 60% marks of aggregate in PCM.

As you have secured 60% marks, so you are eligible for Merchant Navy courses.
