I'm currently pursuing B.com 1st year, i'm contemplating on taking up the CS course,so i would wish to know the following:

-which programme do i satrt off with?
-what is the fees tructure of the programme?
-when is the next exam in 2010?
-what kind of coaching would i require and for how long so that i am fit enough to give the next exam?
-how do i register?
-what is the lastd ate for exams in 2010?
-i'm from Bangalore,is there any counsellor here i could talk to?
- where can i find an upgraded and detailed syllabus of the course?

As you are currently pursuing B.Com I year you can take admission in founation course of CS now and can appear for december 2010 exams, but if you take admission in CS after completion of your graduation you will be alowed exemption from foundation exam and can directly enter into intermediate stage.For registering yourself for exams you can go for any cs chapter in your area, if you are not aware of the address of such chapter you can search it on offficial website of cs i.e.www.icsi.edu here you will fnd all answer for your query, even after that you have any problem you an come here, we all help you out.

minimum eligibility:10+2 pass
duration of course: 8 month foundation courses+9 months intermediate course.

A candidate needs to clear 3 stages to qualify as Company Secretary and these are:
1) Foundation Course
2) Intermediate Course
3) Final Course

ICSI House, 22, Institutional Area Lodhi Road, New Delhi 110 003

Yes, after completing your graduation you will be elligible for executive program of COmapany Secretary for which yoiu have toregister yourself for It in The Institute of Company Secretary of India.
Aftyer completing it successfully you will be going to second stage of Porfessional program and then 15 months training which completes yourCS program and you will become a CS and member of ICSI

For studyu plan it has yto be made by you. You would have received all the study material and start preparing you can even join any coaching for guidance

Myself Latha Choudhary, currently working for retail company from past 1 yr and 3 months. I have completed my B.Sc in biotechonolgy [ 2009 ] and I currently planning to do CS course. I understand its completely parallel line for me to take up this coursefrom my carrer background. But still i m interested to persue in CS. Please suggest me how to purse this course and guide to get through my exams. When Will admissinon starts for 2011 batch and when will i have to give exams? .

Yes, why not just show your 12 marksheet and on that basis you can get admitted to CS foundation but its really very strange why you want to opt for longer way instead of cs executive going for cs foundation which will say your time and money too.
