ICSI offers part time Company Secretary courses.
Eligibility for Company Secretary Courses:
A candidate needs to clear 3 stages to qualify as Company Secretary and these are:

* Foundation Course
* Intermediate Course
* Final Course

These are the three levels included in the courses on company secretaryship. The details are as follows:

1. Foundation course
The minimum eligibility to gain entry in the Foundation Course is a pass in 10+2 examination or its equivalent in any stream. The course is of 8 months duration.

2. Intermediate Course:

A pass in the Foundation Course Examination of the ICSI/Graduation degree or a Master's degree/Pass in ICWAI, ICAI can allow you entry in the intermediate course. The course is of 9 months.

3. Final course
Once you pass the Intermediate Course you automatically become eligible for admission to the Final Course.

look cs itself is a course for becoming company secretary you can go for simply cs course or you can also go for b.com and do your cs course side by side it will help you becoming graduate and also a cs.......

the eligibility criterion for the Foundation course for Company secretary(CS) is candidate should have minimum of 12th pass degree or equivalent examination pass degree. so after 12th you may apply for this without any further study.

To start your career as a company secretary you should just complete your 10+2 and should attain more than 17 years.

There are three stages to pursue the Company Secretaries Courses i.e.

Foundation Programme
Executive Programme
Professional Programme

Admission to the CS Course is open throughout the year. Examinations are held twice a year in June & December.

CS Prospectus can be obtained from any of the offices of the Institute across India and Cost of Prospectus for Foundation Programme : Rs. 200/- by cash payment while
Rs. 250/- by Post or courier

Cost of Prospectus for the Executive Programme : Rs. 300/- by cash payment while
Rs.350/- by Post or courier.

eligiblelity for cs and below are the criteria.....

-- to join the Foundation program of the Company Secretary Course you need to have successfully pass 10+2 or equivalent in any stream.

The foundation course of CS is an 8 month course...

--- After completing the Foundation course you can apply for the Executive program

.-- The candidates who qualified the executive program are eligible for professional programme.

--After completing the professional program in the CS, the you will become the Associate Member of ICSI.

Dear Friend,

You can join the CS course after completing class 12th.You can join the course with the B.Com because CS is a professional course.

After class 12th you have to take admission in the foundation course of the CS course.After passing in the foundation course you can continue with intermediate course of the CS.After clearing Intermediate you can join the final course of the CS.

If you join the course after completing B.Com then you can join the course directly at the Intermediate level.

So the choice is yours.Take admission according to you.

CS course can be completed after completing three parts :

• Foundation Programme
• Executive program
• Professional Programme

You have passed 12th and want to do CS so Register yourself for Foundation Programme .The registration process continues all over the year so you can register at any time.After clearing 2 years papers , you will be shifted to Executive Program.For more information and registration details , please visit the official website that is http://www.icsi.edu

The grauate students need not to register in Foundation programme and they can directly register in Executive programme.

To join the Company Secretary course you do not need any bachelor's degree.After class 12th you can directly join the foundation course of the CS course.The foundation course of the CS is a eight month course and after completing which you can join the executive program of the CS course.
