Re: Which course is better in future between ECE or CSE?
hi........
I think ECE is prefferable if you want to invent any new projects in future if you are intrested........... and there is more job security for the ECE when compared to CSE.. and there will be no ups and downs for the jobs for the jobs regarding ECE .... when compared to that of CSE... So i think there is a good future for ECE than CSE........ |

Re: Which course is better in future between ECE or CSE?
Hi amit,
ECE is definitely a good choice when compared to cse,as it has got more number of opportunities as well as a bright scope in future. The jobs for CSE students mat be affected by the factor of recession, but there is no such danger in the case of ECE.Pursuing M.tech in ECE really helps a lot in finding you the finest of the jobs with good amount of salaries, and if you do your specialization in branches like VLSI,Embedded systems it is really worthful.Apart from these the number of government jobs are more for ECE when compared to the CSE students. Re: Which course is better in future between ECE or CSE?
HI,
ECE According to your question whether CSE is better or ECE both has bright future ..... But ever green is ECE is better because opting for computer sciences you can go only to computer related jobs such as software or hardware, but opting to ECE you can go both to software side and also to electronics side.... And also you can better settle in your life with electronics branch because you had so many jobs in government and private sectors in electronics side for example If you opt ECE then you can get jobs in.... BHEL STEEL PLANT BHPV TATA MOTORS etc.... and also you can opt for software companies like.... SATYAM INFOSYS WIPRO INFO-TECH... etc..... So it is better to select ECE as it is evergreen for every time..... |

Re: Which course is better in future between ECE or CSE?
Both ECE and CSE are very good Engineering Streams. Both have their own Benefits. The choice may depend on the following points:
1. If you want to establish yourself in the electronics industry and want to keep in touch with the ongoing electronics media and all than you will surely choose ECE. 2. If you are related to the computer world and the IT industry and are willing to do Wonders in the computers field than you should choose CSE. |

Both ECE and CSE are good engineering streams. Both have their own advantages. The choice may depend on the following:
1. If you are interested in the Electronics industry and want to keep in touch with the ongoing electronics industry and want to establish yourself as a professional in Electronics field than you should surely go for ECE, 2. If you are well aware of the Computer and IT world and wish to do Wonders in the Computers world then just go for CSE. |

Re: Which course is better in future between ECE or CSE?
Dear friend,
* It is not necessary to take the two subjects as two extremities. * It all depends upon all your interest to opt any one among the two. * If you are much interested in networking and hardware, you would preferrably choose ECE. * oN ETHE OTHER HAND, IF YOU ARE INTERESTED IN SOFTWARE, YOU COULD OPT FOR CSE. * As you asked, i could tell you that it is far better to choose ECE. * Choosing ECe you have the following advantages. * You can go either in ECE or CSE stream, provided you have basic knowledge in programming. * Also, the IT sector depends upon the global market and the foreign market in specific too. * So, during the period of recession, it would be too harder to survive in MNC's. * So you may better opt for ECE. * It is not at all mandatory top pursue PG courses for any of the above courses unless you are interested and asked to do so.. * So, You would get idea about the same during your 3rd year of UG degree. * Best wishes :-) |

Re: Which course is better in future between ECE or CSE?
Different options are available for an engineering degree. Selecting a specialization should be based on certain factors.
>> First and foremost is your taste and interest. Civil degree can get you huge opportunities in the middle east. But without an interest in the subject, you can't get a job satisfaction or sometimes it will become difficult to complete the course itself. So, find your taste first. As you are in between CSE and ECE, i think that these are your final two options. Computer Science Engineering This specialization of engineering deals with the computers. Both hardware and software technologies are taught in which the software side is given a slight more importance than the hardware. Interest in programming is required if you wish to join this course. Electronics and Communication Engineering Electronics part is given more importance. Micro processors, programming, communication etc are included in its syllabus. If you are interested in electronics with good logics, ECE is your best option. On comparing the job opportunities, A CSE graduate has openings mostly in the software field. But students form other branches like ECE, EEE are also given equal importance in software openings during the campus placements. You have inquired about the toughness in subjects and opportunities in the public sector. Toughness If you are not interested in a field, then it will be tough for you. Most of the engineering specializations are equal in its toughness. What matters is your interest !! Public sector jobs On the first, I can say that public sector jobs are more for ECE candidates. But CSE candidates can also get public sector jobs. If a CSE graduate needs a public sector job in his core area, certain other certifications has to be completed. On comparing both, ECE has an upper hand in getting a public sector job in the core field easily. ->this whole depends upon you and your interest. ->Both the fields are good and have bright future. ->CSE stands for computer science and engineering and ECE stands for electronics and communication engineering. ->in both the fields there are lots of jobs. ->CSE is good for girls. ALL THE BEST |
