i am piyush from pune final year(electronics) engg.student.right now i am waiting for my result of final year..now icant decide what to do i.ewhat course should i do,to get a job..i have selected some of the corse they are mainframe, adv.java,and software testing,ccna,so i am not getting which corse should i do...also plz tell me about embd.and vlsi course...hoping to get a answer quicly....

i will suggest you to go for m.tech or better go for cat and then mba finance . . . this the the best combination . . . .

through this stream you can get job in Govt as well as private sector.

Its future is really very very bright,through this stream you can go various sectors in higher study such as :

hi piyush, my decision for u will be the software testing.because nowadays its better going course.Because nowadays computer plays an important role in our world. so there will be the better and great future for software engineer .before that u have to finish the courses like c,c++.java,visual basic .And the important thing u have to get the good project model like waterfall model and spiral model ....

you can choose VLSI design and embd. it is good for you its related to your branch.... except this you can choose java, .net, c, c++.,,they will also good for you.....................

well if you score good in your final year then you would definitely be recruited form you college itself..
and if you are planning to do some additional course then go for java that will suit you the best according to your field...

i suggest you to do M.TECH,either VLSI or embedded systems. it is mainly based on your interest. if you interest in designing IC's,it is better to take VLSI.it has good future.later you can do software jobs or research work.

You must do MBA.You must Appear For CAT next year.By the time you Can prepare Yourself for that and do that job which you get during Placement.After MBA as you have done B-Tech in Electronic Engineering You will have your salary range 1 Lacs-2.5 Lacs per month.and further promotions.

There is no need to get get knowledge in various courses to get a good job after engeeneering if you have a fair knowledge in programing lang and database.
Now it is your choise which line you want to pick up , whether software developer or webpage designer etc.
Software Developer: Programming languages like C++, JAVA etc.
Web page developer:PHP,HTML AND other important courses in scripting languages.

VLSI & EMBD is in the 4th year of electonics engeneering. Now you can do M.TECH in this subjects in various universities by having a suitable rank in GATE.

Electronics and communication is a very good subject. Electronics is a vast field, with many good companies like panasonic, sony, philips, toshiba and many other companies are there.

You can do it any course as per area of interested:-
embedded systems
Vlsi,
Robotics,
Artificial intelligence,
digital electronics,
communication.
You can do it M-tech in any field for good future in electronics.
Institutes like iits ,nits or IIsc are good for M-tech. where you will get good placements upto 10 lakhs.

You have also a chance to go various software company like that:
TCS
Infosys
Directi
Accenture
& other companies

if you do CCNA course you have become a chance to go Networking companies like that:-
Ciso
Mobile network

well there are no of courses you can join to get good salary..but i would like to suggest vlsi design course.you can do it from bangluru ,chadigarh both are nice place with best institutions....as this is tough so check out your potential before joining.

see first decide where you want to do job
there are two stream for electronics student
1.software
2.core

for software stream like having jobs in tcs,infosys,wipro ....make your software skills strong like learn languages dot net,c++,java advance-core,linux,unix and many more

for core companies

make strong yourself in any one field like
networking
embedded system
vlsi
pcb designing
vhdl
robotics

and then can able to find jobs in companies which employed you to do whatever you learn in 4 year education.
