Dear,

GATE score is considered to be the quality measure of an engineering students. If you qualify GATE then you will be given priority over others in private sector and many PSUs recruit students on the basis of GATE scores. These companies are:

1. NTPC
2. BARC
3. HAL
4. IOCL
5. GAIL
6. BHEL
7. SAIL

...etc

Mainly these companies are core companies of mechanical, civil or electrical but they take students from different branches too like CSE, ECE, IT etc.
