The GS paper was relatively easy, mostly direct questions. But, with the introduction of negative mark, the Probable Cut Off Mark in this paper is going to be 60 ± 5 . If your Score is more than 75 you have an advantage.

Aim should be to score 1120+ Marks in Main Exam. You will get IAS.
GENERAL STUDIES = 350+
Essay = 120+
Optional 1 = 325+
Optional 2 = 325+
TOTAL = 1120

CUTOFF MARKS - You have to score at least 70+ is good for history. For GS 80+ is must for General category ppl for History. If you could clarify this, that would be great. But for getting advantage 90 will be sufficient.

civil prelims result may be most probably displayed in this month and have patience.
The cut off marks for gs this is expected to go very low as the paper pattern was very different.

please predict cut off marks for ias mains 2010. and also that history and geography papers were different and what u feel about them.

sir any news about age limit change in CSAT2011.

since optional is no more in CS(Prel.), cutt off of CSAT2011 will be 51%, it depends on the nature of questions. My prediction is that it wil be 51% since CSAT is fist time conducted bu UPSC.

is there any provision for seperate cut off for obc category candidate for csat 2011.
