IES : Indian Engineering Services examination, and this examination was conducted by UPSC every year And to apply for this examination you need to complete your Engineering degree course form a recognised university.

To apply for this examination, your age should between 21 to 30 years, Upper age relaxation is applicable for SC/ST/OBC Candidates.

Those who have completed his Engineering course in any one of the discipline form a recognised university may apply for IES Examination -

>> Civil Engineering.
>> Mecahnical Engineering.
>> Electrical Engineering.
>> Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering.

IES 2012 Examination Dates -

The Notification of IES 2012 Examination was going to be 25/Feb/2012.

And the last date of apply for this examination was 26/March/2012.

Examination was Going to be held on 15/June/2012.
