Exam Pattern For Engineering Service Exams

I have provided you with some of the previous year question papers of Engineering Services along with this post..

Go through these papers and you will have a fair idea of the paper pattern and the level of the questions that you are expected to face..

The candidates appearing for the exam must have the following minimum eligibility criterion :-

1) The candidates must be within the age limit of 21-30 years (age relaxation for reserved categories)

2) The candidates must have completed their B.Tech or should be in the final year of their engineering in any of the following streams

>> Electronics and Telecom Engineering
>>Civil Engineering
>> Mechanical Engineering
>> Electrical Engineering

The exam forms are already available in the market since 10th March,2012

The last date for submission of the forms is 9th April,2012

The exam shall be conducted on 15th June,2012

Well IES conducts exam for total 1200 marks selection process
written test-1000 marks
interview - 200 marks

Out of 1000marks in written test, 600 for objective type and 400 for conventional test..

In objective type:
general ability test will be for 200marks for 2hrs duration
electronics engineering paperI will be for 200marks for 2hrs duration
electronics engineering paperII will be for 200marks for 2hrs duration

General ability test contains partA: General english and partB: General studies
