Re: Which degree is preferable to become a software engineer?
The only degree that I would prefer to become a Software Engineer is to get a B.E/B.Tech. in Computer Science and Engineering from one of the premium institutes like IITs or NITs.
You can take the JEE to get an admission in one of these colleges. You need to have a science background to appear in the exam and make it to one of the institutions. |

Re: Which degree is preferable to become a software engineer?
To become a Software Engineer you need to do Bachelor's from CSE or IT Branch (Most Preferable).
Because students from CSE and IT departments will learn all the coding and related stuff while studying. Students form Other Branches can also get Software Engineer job but they need to learn all the Coding and related stuff by going to classes in the Institutions. |

Re: Which degree is preferable to become a software engineer?
Friend your question which degree is preferable to become a software engineer?
It may vary person to person. My preference first of all to become a software engineer you must be a student of b.tech in Computer Science and Engineering/IT/MCA. Procedure first you have to pass 12th standard with PCM subjects having at least 50% mraks from a recognized board to crack Joint entrance exam.Next as per your merit you should get admission toward b.tech colleges to achieve the degree for the software engineer. Thank You, |

Re: Which degree is preferable to become a software engineer?
You need to have degree of B.tech to become a software Engineer.
After 12th class, you need to apply for B.tech Computer Science Full course to become a software Engineer. If you are interested in coding then you can be a developer after getting job in a company. or if you are not interested, then there more role for a software engineer to take it as career. |
