What are the benefits to attend the gate examination? could u please provide to me the complete benefits

The GATE exam is mainly conducted for getting in to PG degree. The Graduate aptitude Test in engineering is an entrance exam which is primarily conducted for getting in to some of the reputed engineering institutes for the M.Tech course. Apart from this, the GATE score is also taken in to consideration for applying to various jobs in the public sector. Certain companies in the Public sector such as NTPC, ONGC, etc take in the candidates on the basis of their score in the GATE examinations. This will be specified in the notifications which are published for the job openings.

My cgpa is 6.5 can i get into iit for mtech through gate

If you are a student of one of the core branches, which are Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electronics and Communication Engineering, then you will be able to apply for the job at PSUs using your GATE score. Most of the PSUs primarily consider the GATE score of the candidates for the job selection.

GATE stands for Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering. All eligible engineering graduates can apply for this examination. Final year students can also apply.

It is conducted by IIT K once in a year during the month of February. It is considered to be most toughest engineering entrance examination in India.

It is held online and not in offline mode.
