As such there are no demerits if you take another chance for IIT or anything like that. It just breaks your 13 year academic career flow.
Many companies ask for 15 year continuous academic career, and so that criteria won't get fulfilled. This case is hardly on the go. These days companies like TCS, Wipro, HCL, Infosys etc they give relaxation upto two years of gaps. So not an issue. And if you look towards the government sector jobs, you maximum age limit is the criteria. They don't see if you have taken a drop or not. Age limit is from 21 lower limit to 27 upper limit i.e if you belong to a general category. Otherwise, its 30 or 32 years for the reserved SC ST OBC. etc Be positive . Go ahead. Good luck. |

IF ANYONE WANTS TO PREPARE FOR ENTRANCE EXAM then drawback is following:- -one year drop -the competition will increase -may be not very much energetic |
