Competitive exams like IES, IAS are conducted by UPSC. All these competitive exams are conducted at different time round the year. You can find the notification of these exams in all the leading news papers or in employment news. You can also find the notification in the official web site. Presently some companies in public sector are recruiting engineers through GATE score.

Details about BSNL JTO Exam:
eligibility:: the candidate must have completed gradudation in engineering in any of the following branches
elictrical engineering,computer engineering,radio engineering,elctroninc engineering and chemical engineering

age:: the candidate age must be between 21 to 28 years and there willl be relaxation for the candidate who are reserved.the reservation for the sc/st candidates is 5years and the reservation for the bc candidates is 3 years.
recrutiting process:: there will be two tests written test and interview.
written test:: stream related sunject and aptittude ,reasoning, english and general awareness.

details about IES Exam:

IES (Indian Engineering Services) examination is conducted every year by UPSC.

The eligibility criteria for the same is
B.E./B.Tech. (of equivalent) degree.
Age Limit:
21-30 years for GEN category students.
21-33 years for OBC category students.
21-35 years for SC/ST/PD category students.
All reservation are given according to government rules.

There are four streams for the examination:
Civil Engineering
Electrical Engineering
Electronics and Communication Engineering
Mechanical Engineering
