this year NTPC is looking for more than 500 graduate engineer for the post of executive trainees..
the requirements for different areas are
electrical:145
mechanical:175
civil:60
control and instrumentation:40
finance:100

qualification:bachelors degree in engineering,
finance:graduate with ca/icwa
final year students can also apply
the written test is on 17/4/2011 after the selection in written test there will be gd and personal interview
AGE LIMIT:
engineering:27 years as of 1/1/2011
finance:29 years
pay scale:29000-50000
application fee:500
last date to apply :7/3/2011

NTPC Exam Eligibility:
Educational Eligibility: Min. 55% marks for SC, ST and Physically Challenged & 65% marks for others.
Age Eligibility
For EET: Max. 27 years as on 01/01/2010 i.e. examinees born before 01/01/82 is not qualified. This age limit is relaxed by 2 years for the examinees with Post graduation degree.
For ET-HR & ET-Fin: Max. 29 years as on 01/01/2010 i.e. examinees born before 01/01/80 is not qualified.
Max. age limit is relaxed through 5 years for SC/ST & 3 years for OBC.

i am in final year of b.tech. computer science engineering...can i give the ntpc exam for engineering job?

friend the ntpc which is now a maharatna company, conducts exam in the month of apr/may every yr to select candidates for the post of probationary engineers. the cut-off % to appear for the exam is 65% without any backlog. also students in their final yr may also apply. also the exam this yr consists of 75 technical and 45 aptitude questions.

im in my final year of btech computer science engineering. Can i apply for new recruitment in ntpc?

dear the NTPC is the one of the navratna company which provide the high salary and the facilities to there employees
about ntpc test it contains about 200 questions from the
english
general awareness
aptitute and reasoning
and technical subjects in the b.tech
the cut of of the ntpc is arroun 85% quetion to be correct to get selected for the interview.
