Default Re: Difference between A.Tech Honor and BSc Engineering?

B.Tech is a four year degree course whereas B.Sc (Engineering ) is a three years degree course. B.tech is considered as one of the best professional course and this course is only available in Technical University.

Some of the entrance exam conducted for admission in B.tech Colleges are : JEE-Mains, WB-JEE, UPTU-JEE, COMED-K, CUSAT, BITSAT, MP-CET, IP-CET and some of the private university aso have their entrance exam for seat allocations.

To get affiliation for B.tech course a college will have to register to AICTE, India. But there are no such criteria for B.Sc courses. Also every college has to renew their AICTE certification every year.

B.Sc courses are available in Engineering as well as Non technical colleges. In B.Sc colleges, Cut-off marks vary according to number of applicant applied for the course. But in course of B.tech a candidate will have to go through counseling process to get admission.

Core branches of B.Tech are : Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Information Engineering etc....Apart from this some of the other technical courses are Aviation Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Applied Science, Marine Engineering.

Courses under B.Sc Engineering are : Computer Science, Electronics, Electrical, Information technology, Quality Management, etc......

After completion of graduation degree course a candidate can go for higher studies like M.tech, MA, MBA, MCA.

The biggest difference in between B.tech & B.sc is the job area. job area is different after both courses. A B.tech students will only get technical work in office as well as in Industry but B.Sc students gets priority for Non Technical work.

A B.Sc candidate will have to learn practical things in the beginning because B.Sc course do not cover any kind of practical class. So practical period is also a big difference for both the courses. In case of B.tech course every subject will have one practical and proper training is given to them about that particular work.

Hence we can say that B.tech students are technically stronger than B.Sc candidates.

Famous Universities for the B.Sc course are : Delhi University, JNU, Anna University, Maharashtra University, Bangalore University, Jadavpur University, Mahatma Gandhi University, Mysoor University, and many other state level university have authority for B.sc degree.
Do you have any question? or have anything to say?
