hii....am a student of btech final year in CSE....i wish to ask whether distance learning in MBA is good for me from SCDL as i want to do MBA while working in an industry.....if yes then in which specialisation among these???
1- PGDM in HR
2-PGDM in IT
3-PGDM in operations

You have done B.Tech in CSE and now you want to work and do MBA simultaneously, it is alway good to do MBA after B,tech for better career prospects.

MBA is a course which inculcate managerial and business skills in candidate that's why Engineer who has also acquired MBA degree is prefered by most of the companies.

Doing Regular MBA is Best Option but as you want to work simultaneously , you are thinking of doing Correspondence MBA.

There is one more option for you Part - time MBA.

You should get at least 2 years work experience than decide for MBA degree as that way you would have clear idea that which type of MBA You should choose for better career prospects .

Distance Learning is not advisable now a days, given the market condition.
The competition is very huge these days. Even as per 2013 data, people from IIMs and XLRI found it difficult to get placed.
many people going for regular MBA and company prefer regular MBA.

Importance of MBA is as follows

- Full time regular MBA
- Executive MBA
- Part Time MBA
- Correspondence/distance learning

Since you have just completed your graduation. It would be better, if you go for full time MBA. SCDL is always there but it would just add one point in your resume without adding any value to it.
