Re: Is ECE hardware or software?
Quote:
ECE i.e. electronic & communication engineering is a hardware subject. Hardware: It is something that you can touch and see such as: Computer screen, keyboard, mouse, chips, logic gates, processors etc. Software:It is something that you can only feel its presence. Such as: operating system, software program etc. In BE ECE mainly involves study of semi conductors, micro processors, antenna, Gates etc which are completely hardware so its a hardware field. Some of the practicals will involve programming of micro processors but it will not be in much use. Good luck! |
