Hello Sir, I have served in Indian Army for 17 years. I have completed my 12th. Now, I want to apply in RPF SI recruitment. So, I would like to know about my eligibility for applying in this recruitment. Kindly tell me immediately.

RPF (Railway Protection Force) SI (Sub Inspector) exam is conducted by the Ministry of railway.

The eligibility requirements for attending the exam are mentioned below:

- The candidate should be a citizen of India.
- The age limit should be between 20 - 25 years.
- There is age relaxation for reserved candidates based on the government rules.
- For ex serviceman who have worked at least 6 months continuous service have 3 years age relaxation for UR candidates, 6 years age relaxation for OBC candidates and 8 years age relaxation for SC/ ST candidates.
- The educational qualification required is a graduation level degree from any recognized university.
- The height required for male candidates is 165 Cms & 157 Cms for female candidates.
- There is 5 Cms relaxation for reserved candidates.
- The weight should be proportional to height.
- The candidate should be physically & mentally fit.

There is only age relaxation for Ex serviceman but there is no special reservation in education qualification.
So, you cannot apply for the exam based on your qualification.
