Eligibility Criterion and Exam Pattern For AFMC

Armed Forces Medical College(AFMC) is the 2nd best medical college in India ranked after AIIMS..

For appearing in the AFMC entrance exam..candidates must be 12th pass outs between the age limit of 17-22 years and should have secured a minimum of 60% in your 12th..

Armed Forces Medical College (AFMC) is the best way for medical college.

Eligibility criteria:

The candidate should be complete 12th standard from any recognised state board of india with atleast 60%marks.

Age limit is not more than 22 years and lessthan 17years.

The candidate should be a citizen of india.

2 hours question.

For each correct answer get 1 mark and for each wrong answer negative 0.25 marks.

AFMC is 2nd rank college.
Eligibility are:
Student have passed 12th class with 60% marks.

Exam is conducated including physics, botony and zeology.
Total seat in this college is 130.

on clearing the entrance exam you will be required to go in for physical fitness test.you will need to clear this to get the final selection.the eyesight problem on issue .the standards are fixed by the mimistry of defence.you need to check eith the authorities concerned with the same.also it is must that the candidate must have crossed 17years of age.also you are should not be more than 22years of age.also you should have cleared your 12th standard in science.there is aminimum requirement of 60% in the same

Last date for receipt of form : 05.03.2012
Exam date : 06.05.2012

Application are invited for admission to the MBBS course at armed forces medical college , pune commencing from 01.08.2012
Total 130 candidates will be selected
all the 105 boys & 25 girls admitted to armed forces medical college , pune

Special concessions:

the govt provide free accommodation &entitled rations , subsidised messing , AC 3 tier free ailway warrent from college to home & back during vacations , a book subsidy of Rs.12000/- during entire training period , uniform allowance of rs.6000/- per student during first year & Rs.1250/- per year

Exam pattern :

The competitive written exam will be of 2hrs duration & will have one paper comprising of 200 objective type questions in the following subjects

Biology 50questions
Chemistry 50questions
Physics 50questions
intelligence , logical & reasoning 25questions
English language & comprehension 25questions

Each question would be of one mark & for each correct
answer one mark will be credited
wrong answer will have negative marks(0.25marks)

I am sorry to say that you are not eligible for M.D.S from A.F.M.C.
If you ant to do M.D.S from A.F.M.C then you have to join Indian Army after B.D.S.

After that you have to qualify the M.D.S Entrance exam conducted by A.F.M.C.

If you qualify the A.F.M.C entrance exam then you are eligible for A.F.M.C entrance exam.

i have completed my BDS recently with aggregate of 76% and i want the details of MDS entrance 2013 NOTIFICATIONS in AFMC and the books to be prepared please help me out

Following are the eligibility criteria for AFMC Exam -
The candidate must have passed the 12th standard exam with minimum 50% aggregate.
The candidate must have to qualify the AIPMT examination.
The candidate must be of Indian nationals.
The minimum age of the candidate is 17 years and the maximum age of the candidate is 25 years.
Following is the exam pattern -
The exam will be held in offline mode.
Each question carries 4 marks and 1 mark will be subtracted as the punishment for wrong answer.
180 minutes will be given to solve the exam.
Exam will be in the English and Hindi.
The paper carries 4 sections and each sections carries 45 questions.
There are total 180 questions
