I want to know the pattern of TOEFL.
Kindly tell me about the pattern of TOEFL in details
and all the eligibility criteria for applying in TOEFL.

TOEFL Entrance Exam:

* Test of English A Foreign Language is a standardized test that evalute the English proficiency of people whose native language is not English.

* TOEFL is administrated as a computer based test in India.

Eligibility to appear for TOEFL:

The candidate who completed his 10+2 from recognized University can apply for the TOEFL test.

Pattern of the TOEFL Exam:

Reading section : 30 Marks
Listening section : 30 Marks
Speaking section : 30 Marks
Writing section : 30 Marks

TOEFL stands for Test Of English as a Foreign Language. It is a standardised test which helps you to prove your English Language Proficiency Skills in Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking sections. This test is mainly taken by candidates who are interested to pursue their higher studies in Abroad. No specific eligibility criteria is required to appear in TOEFL examination. Anyone irrespective of age, educational qualification, etc. are eligible to appear in TOEFL examination. The validity of TOEFL examination score is 5 years.

TOEFL Examination Pattern :-
1. Reading :-
Time Limit :- 60–80 minutes
Questions :- 36–56 questions
Tasks :- Read 3 or 4 passages from academic texts and answer questions.

2. Listening :-
Time Limit :- 60–90 minutes
Questions :- 34–51 questions
Tasks :- Listen to lectures, classroom discussions and conversations, answer questions.

3. Speaking :-
Time Limit :- 20 minutes
Questions :- 6 tasks
Tasks :- Express an opinion on a familiar topic; speak based on reading and listening tasks.

4. Writing :-
Time Limit :- 50 minutes
Questions :- 2 tasks
Tasks :- Write essay responses based on reading and listening tasks; support an opinion in writing.

TOEFL stands for Test of English as a Foreign Language. TOEFL exam is used to test the ability of a candidate in Reading, writing, Listening and Speaking sections of English language.
