Dear Sir, I just want to know that if I study 12th with NIOS Board then I will be able to join Defence Services? I am interested to join Defence Services but I have completed my 12th with NIOS Board. Please let me know about this as soon as possible.

Yes, you are eligible to join Defence Services after completion of your 12th standard. To join Defence Services, you have to appear in UPSC NDA examination. Candidates who have passed 12th standard or an equivalent examination in any discipline from a Government recognised board are eligible to apply for NDA examination. Since, NIOS is a recognised board, you are eligible to appear in NDA examination for joining in Defence Services.
