To make a candidate eligible for Govt seat(karnataka CET),is it necessary that the candidate has to do 12th from Karnataka?how many years he/she has to study here for Govt seat eligibility?Is it necessary that the duration has to be continuous?

My daughter studied upto 10th grade in UAE and 11 and 12th in Karnataka. I ( mother ) studied all my life in Karnataka ( Keralite settled in karnataka ) , although our mother tongue is malayalam. Is my daughter eligible to write the Karnataka CET for government merit quota ?

My son is studying class 12 in hyderabad. If he wants to write cet in karnataka what is the procedure ? My education was done at karnataka
