hello sir . my height is 178 cm and weight is 64 kg with well developed chest . but only worry is that on standing in attention position my knees get touch with each other . will it be rejected?or not. regarding nda eligibility

The physical standards for you is alright for your age and you are fir to apply for the NDA.They also check on the all round physical activities.

If you dont have any diseases before,them you are absolutely eligible for the exam.

If your both the Knees are touching together then you will be considered as Medically unfit.

So, you must do something for this.

i am 171 cm tall and with well developed chest but my kness touch each other can u give me tips that how to seperate my knees without touching when i am at attention position.because if my knees touch i am medically unfit but i can run confortably?

If your knees attach then you are not elligible because NDA needs a completly fit man just of only minor unfitness they can say you 'NO'.

Knock knee doesn't matter much in NDA. You can correct your knock

For the NDA exam a candidate should be 10+2 pass in any discipline
and should have physics and maths for the Indian Air force.
Those appeared in the 10+2 exam are also eligible.

Age Limit
For the NDA exam candidate age should be between 16.5 to 19 years.

other Things are Ok but the fact is if your Knees are touching each other then you must go for Yoga, if you really have aspiration to join Indian Army.

Because This will be said as Medical Unfit if a Guy has knees touching each other.

This is known to be Medical Unfit because when you will be having Run task then you will face Problems and you can't do that Task.

and Indian Army must be perfect enough .

Few Points on Eligibility:-

Educational Qualification:-

Candidates appearing at the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination also eligible to compete subject to certain conditions

Age limits:-

Must be in between 16-1/2 to 19 years of age.

NDA I is going to be Held on 17th of April for this You are Not Eligible because you have Not passed your 11th Class.

But Don't worry For NDA I 2012 you will be Eligible.

And yes One more Exam i.e NDA II for This year For this Also you are Eligible Keep tracking Employment news in the month of April for Notification because on 9th April Notification for NDA II 2011 will be published.

And last Date for the Notification and Receipt of Application form is 09.05.2011 AND Exam for the Same is on 21.08.2011

(ii) For Air Force and Naval Wings of National Defence Academy and for the 10+2 (Executive Branch) Course at the Naval Academy :- 12th Class pass of the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics conducted by a State Education Board or a University.

Candidates who are appearing in the 12th Class under the 10+2 pattern of School Education or equivalent examination can also apply for this examination.

sorry friend but in medical check up they are very strict and they will definitely reject you if both your knees touch together

in case of army recruitment if both knees touch each other then it's considered that the candidate is medically unfit. but at the time of NDA medical test i don't think the medical test will be so much strict. they will take just general medical test like your eye, physical standard, color blindness etc.

i think first you should appear in the NDA examination. then clear the examination and go for interview. after interview medical test will be taken. then they may reject you but you should try for that. in other way you may directly contact with the UPSC office regarding this problem. they may help you by giving correct information. here i am attaching contact details of UPSC.

now NDA II 2011 examination form fill up is going on. for online form fill up visit the website http://www.upsconline.nic.in the last date of form fill up is 9th May, 2011. notification was published on 9th April, 2011. the date of the examination is 21st August, 2011.

i have knock knees,but no problem in running whatsoever.i want to know if i'll be rejected in the medical examination on the basis of this problem?

SIR I HAVE APPLIED FOR THE POST OF JUNIOR ENGINEER IN CPEW. I PASSED THE EXAMINATION. BUT THE THING WHICH IAM AFRAID OF IS THAT I HAVE A SLIGHT KNOCK KNEES DIFORMITY IN MY RIGHT LEG ONLY. LEFT ONE IS COMPLETLY FINE. I DONT FEEL ANY PROBLEM IN WALKING RUNNING. BUT MY KNEES TOUCH EACH OTHER WHEN I STAND STRATGHT. WILL I BE REJECTED FOR THE POST OF JUNIOR ENGINEER ON MEDICAL GROUNDS COZ OF THIS.?? PLZ ADVICE ME...

N.D.A exam is conducted bu U.P.S.C twice in a year.

Eligibility criteria:-
> Pass 12th with recognized university
> Age limit:-16.5-19 year.
> Must be citizen of India
> Medically fit

There are three steep of selection:-
> Written Exam
> Interview
> Medical exam

As per my knowledge you will face problem in medical selection.
But you try for this exam.

sir ,I cleared CDS written test,but i am worried about interview and physical tests,more over i had rod in my right hand and when i join my legs my knees touch each other ,except these i am good,so could you tell me whether i am eligible for IMA and OTA or not so that i will attend interview.

Sir .i am 1.84 m tall .i runs fast . I can run for 10miles .i can jump 5.5 Foot high and around 18 foot long but i am suffering with knock knees will i be rejected?
