I have done 12th with PCM. But I don't want to do BTech. Actually I am interested in Agriculture. So, I want to study BSc in Agriculture. I would like to know that is there any entrance exam available for admission in this course?

To be eligible to apply for B.Sc. Agriculture course, you should have passed 12th standard or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Mathematics subjects from a Government recognised board. You have to entrance examinations like EAMCET, etc., which is conducted by your respective state technical board of education or college or university.

Yes, if you want to pursue B.Sc Agriculture course then you have to appear for entrance examination conducted by ICAR, state universities and private universities.

The required qualification to appear for examination is that candidate must have passed 12th with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology as main paper.

For admission in government colleges ( Central government ) you have to qualify for ICAR AIEEA examaination.

The eligibility criteria for Bachelors's degree in Agriculture:

1. You must have done 12th from a recognized board with either PCM subject group or PCB subject group.

2. Minimum of 50% marks in 12th to be eligible for entrance exams of this course.

Indian Council for Agriculture Research conducts All Indian Entrance Exam for Admission in B.Sc in Agriculture in top government agriculture colleges.

Apart from this exam, you can apply for your state level Common Entrance Test for admission in B.Sc in Agriculture.

As far as you are concerned about the entrance examination for admission in B.Sc. in Agriculture then for that you need to qualify entrance examinations such as AIEEA UG held ICAR and State CETs held by concerned state board of education.

AIEEA UG ( All India entrance examination for admission in undergraduate agriculture degree course ) is held by ICAR for offering admission in agriculture degree course in agricultural colleges funded by Central government. The name of entrance examination for admission in Bachelor of Science in Agriculture is AIEEA.

The acronym AIEEA stands for All Indian Entrance Examination for Admission.

Examination conducting body: ICAR.

Academic qualification required: 12th passed with PCM or PCB.

BHU, Punjab University, JET ( Joint Entrance Test ) it is conducted for admission in Madhya Pradesh.

So, you can appear for entrance examination and after qualifying for entrance will become eligible for admission in the course.

Candidate must have passed 12th from a recognised board.

Candidate must have passed 12th in PCB/PCM stream.
