Which entrance exam to clear for masters degree after BPT? What type of preparation is required for it?

Sir i am in 1st year BPT and i want to further study after BPT, i want to know which exam i have to give that i am eligible for, masters and also what preparation for entrance exam.
I heard that mostly students take one year drop after bpt and then give entrance for masters , but i don't want to drop so what preparation i do ?
