i would like to know about the entrance exams i have to give to pursue admission in aeronautics.

you can go for entrance exam of any institute which provides aeronautical engineering and then after you clear the exam choose your stream as aeronautics

Educational Attainment:
BE / B. Tech in aeronautical Engineering -Postgraduate program in aeronautical engineering for
B.Sc students
B.Tech and Ph.D. program in aeronautical Engineering
Associate membership program conducted by Aeronautical Society of India (ASI).
It is possible to take a degree in Physics or electronics to work in this area and leave more option open.

HAL is good option for you ...
Hindustan Aeronautics Limited popularly known as
HAL is one of the Navaratna units of India
The candidates will have to undergo a written/practical test,
followed by an interview for the qualifying candidates...
eligibility is mechanical/ electrical and electronics/heat treatment engineering from a recognized university.

IIT JEE requires 60% minimum overall percentage in 12th std and AIEEE requires just a pass percentage.

dear frnd,
there are many colleges in india which have stream aeronautical engineering for which you have to appear for IITJEE,AIEEE and clear it.

for getting admission in aeronautical engineering you have to give AIEEE entrance exam.
In counseling you have to to fill that state counselling in which aeronautical engineering is offered. Aeronautical engineering demands a high ranking ,you have to perform well in the entrance.

Hi friend..................

There are many entrance exams for fullfilling your will but i suggest you IITJEE & AIEEE. Prepare for it but if you are in 12th then first prepare for your board exams. As for IITJEE you will have to reach atleast 60% minimum marks in your board exams and for AIEEE you will have to just pass in your board exam. Do your best and work hard.

You can seek admission to aeronautical engineering after qualifying in any one of the state exams,There are many entrance exams for fullfilling your will but i suggest you IITJEE & AIEEE. Prepare for it but if you are in 12th then first prepare for your board exams

There are various ways for getting into Aeronautical Engineering. But the it is very important to persue that course from a Good institute. That's because Aeronautical Engineering is one of the Toughest Engineering course and is is a vast and core subject combinations like- Aerodynamics, Mechanics etc.


If you want to explore better career in Aeronautical Engineering, then is neccessary to persue your B.tech from Good institute.

IIT's : Admission is based on IITJEE.It is conducted every year by IIT's for admitting students in B.tech programs.You can find details from the website of any IIT.You can appear for it two consecutive years.

Eligibility criteria: Candidates must have passed class 12 (PCM) with at least 60% aggregate including PCM.

NIT's: Admission is based on AIEEE, ranks.AIEEE is conducted by CBSE every year for admission into 34 nranches of engineering in all NIT's and many other hundreds of institutes.

Eligibility criteria: Candidates must have passed class 12 (PCM).You can appear for it three consecutive times.

IIST:Admission is based on Ranks in also ISAT,conducted by IIST itself.

Eligibility criteria: Candidates must have passed class 10 with at least 70% aggegate in science and also class 12 (PCM) passed with at least 70% aggregate.

Besides this there are also various state based entrance exams like- WBJEE, MH-CET etc.

If someone fails to find admission into B.Tech (Aeronautical Engineering), then nothing to worry, opt for B.E./B.Tech (Mechanical Engingineering) then you can opt for Aeronautical at M.Tech and beleive be that will be much better then directly enrolling for B.Tech (Aeronautical Engineering).

to get admission you have to clear any of the exam and

hey u can get in to good aeronoutical colleges by atending and scoring good rank in IITJEE exam or in AIEEE exam... wich conducted once in a year....wich has +2 syllabus..... al d best...

In order to get admission into IIT you will have to answer an all india entrance test called IIT JEE

Its considered to be the toughest test in india. But if you study hard then its definately not tough to clear it.

So work hard for IIT. Join some coaching like bansal,narayana and crack the taunting IIT JEE

Is it advisable to join aeronautics after BE in mechanical.

FOR carrier in aeronautics after B.E you can do M.TECH in aeronautics.

Duration for this will be for 2 years.
