Re: Entrance exams and their eligibility criteria for admission in B.Arch.?
Dear Friend
The top three entrance tests in India for undergraduate courses in Architecture are: NATA IIT-JEE AIEEE The eligibility for all these entrance exam is passed in 12th. For IIT-JEE one is required to have at least 60% marks and for AIEEE one should have at least 50% marks in 12th. The 12th should have been completed with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. In IIT-JEE there use to be an additional test for Architecture after joint entrance exam for all engineering courses. In AIEEE one separate entrance test is conducted for B.Arch. admission. NATA test is only for B.Arch. admission for all top architecture colleges in Indian. I would suggest you to have a look to the admission test brochure of all the three entrance tests. These are attached with this message. Find them into the attachments. Thank You |

Re: Entrance exams and their eligibility criteria for admission in B.Arch.?
If you want to take admission in B.Arch then you will have to pass entrance tests like IIT-JEE, AIEEE, State Entrance Exams (like MHT-CET, UPSEE, etc) with good ranks.
You will have to appear for PAPER 2 in each entrance test. That paper will be for admission to B.Arch. If you want to take admission in IITs, then you will have to appear for IIT-JEE exam that is conducted jointly by IITs every year. Minimum percentage required is 60% (for GEN/OBC, for SC/ST it is 55%). If you want to take admission in NITs or any deemed universities of India, then you will have to appear for AIEEE exam that is conducted by CBSE every year. Minimum percentage required is 60%. |
