Hello Fathima

you are in a very confused state . Here I'll try to bring you clarity.

IAS : Indian Administrative Service

Customs Officer : The officer who works under customs department.

To become IAS officer or Customs Officer you need to write a common entrance examination called Civil Service Exam, Which is conducted by UPSC every year.

This entrance exam is conducted for 27 civil services, which includes Indian Administrative service and Indian Customs and Excise Services.

To become an officer of any of the two you need to clear civil Service exam.

by the way,
as you're in JC(Junior College).

You're not eligible to write this entrance exam even even after your SYJC.

You will fulfill the eligibility criterion only after completing 21 years of age and after attaining a degree from a recognized university.
till then you're not allowed to write the exam.

After successfully clearing CSE , then you will be allotted the service according to the desired option. In your case IAS should be first preference and then comes Indian Customs and Excise Services.

This concludes the answer for your query.

Hope everything is covered.
If still any doubt persists you're free to leave a query in our forum we will definitely solve your query.
