Chemistry is such field which is in demand for ever. Regarding specialization is your interest whether to choose Organic, Physical, Inorganic, Industrial and Pharmaceutical etc.

As per my knowledge Organic, Industrial and Pharmaceutical are the leading specializations.

There are many chemical and Pharmaceutical Industries which hire experts in Chemistry in their work.
