I am vaishnavi.please tell me whether girls can join in IMA? Please tell me if its possible for girls to join the same

vaishnavi. u r not eligible for IMA but u can join other exam related ti army.
For the female candidates you can get into the Indian military academy through the UES (University entrance scheme) or though the TGC or through the SSC technical for women .

For the information regarding the UES , TGC and the SSC you may visit the official website http://www.indianarmy.gov.in for the eligibility , mode of selection and other details .
u can also apply for CDS EXAM after graduation.

No, Girls are Not allowed to Join defense through IMA.

But If you are Interested to Join defense then you may apply for OTA (Officers’ Training Academy) or Join Defense Through UES (University Entry Scheme).

>> But To apply for Defense You need to complete your Graduate degree course in any discipline for Recognised university for OTA. But to apply for OTA, your age should between 19 to 25 years, and you must have completed your Degree of a recognized University or equivalent.

You can also Join Defense through Direct Entry Scheme, So If you have completed your engineering, you can join the Technical Branch through the Direct Entry Scheme. Women are eligible for Defence through direct entry scheme to join Indian Air Force.

You can also Join through University Entry Scheme (UES) But for this You must have completed your Engineering Gradate degree course and your age should between 18 to 28 years.

So, Please apply for these examination If you are Interested to Join Defense.

No,sorry you are not eligible as girls are not put into IMA.They have some basic rules and

eligibility which you have to qualify for that.But you can join other exam of defence

services.

Hello Vaishnavi,
Girls are not eligible to join the Indian Military Academy.
If you are interested in joining the Indian Army, you may join the Officers Training Academy by qualifying the combined defense service exam conducted by union public service commission.
To be eligible, you must be graduate and within the age limit of 19 -25 years.
After qualifying the exam and acquiring the necessary training at the officers training academy, you will join Indian Army as an officer through short service commission.

Vande Mataram Sir/Ma'am, With due respect I would like to ask you that neither I belong to technical branch nor have ever been in any NCC training and currently doing graduation in Hindi . So, do I have a small chance to get into Indian Army and serve the nation , if there is then please let me know . I hope you will reply as soon as you will come across my query .

You can't join IMA, there are other options like you can join flying branch after graduation of post graduation with a minimum 60%marks in aggregate through short service commission
