How can i apply for Central Bureau Of Investigation as i am studying in B.Tech Final Year.Am I eligible for this exam??Give me details for this exam.

Generally CBI conducts exam for agent posts those will further work in CBI as active body.for exam brouchers are released probably in the month of october. And exam conducts in the month of february.although UPSC and SSC conducts exam for CBI for high rank officers.for more information you can visit the official site of UPSC-www.upsc.gov.in

CBI: Central Bureau of Investigation

This is one of the Trusted Investigation group of India

But you have to undergo a long process as you have to write CSE(Civils Examination)in the integrated services of the CSE or there is one more method that is SSC(Staff Selection Committee exam) with this exam too

The Eligibility regarding age is 21-27 years

To get jobs in some of the important post of bureau

you should complete your graduation in criminology field

your degree must be from a recognized Indian University.

you can enter into CBI as Inspector but the high level jobs are by IPS
officers only

SSC is also not a simple exam it also consists of 4 stages you have to clear all of them

Then only you will get placed in CBI department

Some times the candidates with LAW background also get a chance to enter in to cbi

this is all about CBI intake of Personnel

yes you are eligible for the exam.. as minimum qualification for that is to be Graduate..

Crime Branch CBI (Central bureau of Investigation) is a specialized wing in many state police forces in India of their Criminal Investigation Department .

Other branches of the CBI are

• State Crime Investigation Bureau
• Finger Print Bureau
• and Scientific Section.

To join in CBI you need to write the CGPE EXAM conducted by UPSC...!!
and for that you need to have good physical strength also like any armed force..

Central Breau of Investigation is the special wing of the Criminal

Investigation department of India. To join the CBI you need to appear in

the CGPE exam which is conducted by UPSC in every year.

some other branch of CBI :

1) State crime Investigation Bureau.
2) Scientific Section.
3) Finger print Bureau.

Eligibility criteria for CBI :

Educational Qualification :-

The minimum educational qualification for the CBI is graduation with the

criminology as the main subject.

Age Limit :-

The age must be between 21 to 27 years at the time of appear in the

exam.

If you are studying in the final year of B.Tech then you are eligible for

Yes you are eligible, you have to give CGPE which is conducted by the SSC.


Following is the eligibility criteria for CBI examination

1. Educational Qualification- Candidate should be graduate in any discipline form a recognized university.
Those appeared in the final year examination are also eligible.

2. Age Limit- 21 to 27 years.


Examination pattern-

The exam is held in 2 stages.
Each stage is of 100 marks and of 2 hours duration.

First stage consists of General Awareness and
tests the General Ability of candidates.

The Second Stage is of Arithmetic.
