What is the procedure for central bureau of investigation exam and how to apply for exam?

The examination is held generally in the month of February Blank application forms and other particulars are published in the Employment News usually in the month of October of the last year. The last date for submission of applications is usually first week of November of last year. Educational Qualifications: Degree of a recognized University or equivalent. Plan of the Examination: The examination wills consists Old Pattern Exam. of two parts: Part I Written Examination carrying: 400 marks Part II Personality Test (Interview): 100 marks. Examination Subjects: The subjects of the written examination, the maximum marks and time allowed for each subject will be as given below: Paper No. Subject Questions Max. Marks Duration Paper-I General Test General Intelligence and Reasoning 50 General Awareness 75 200 2 hours Numerical Ability 75 Paper-II English Language Language Comprehension Communication/Writing 200 2 hours Ability Test |

CBI exam are carried out by UPSC. The notification for the exam will be published in the employment news. The official website also will have updates of this notification. Aspirants need to apply for the exam as and when they see the notification. Candidates with a basic degree can apply for the post. The questions will be asked from General Intelligence and Reasoning, Numerical Ability, English Language etc. Please visit the official site for detailed information.

To join CBI you need to appear for CGPE exam i.e. Combined Graduate preliminary Exam which is conducted by SSC board every year. QUALIFICATION: The minimum Qualification needed to sit in this exam is to be Graduate enough in any Discipline. AGE: You should be in between 20 to 27 years of Age. & special Relaxation is given to SC/ST which is 5 years and For OBC 3 years. Dear friend,
First of all you have to be a graduate to apply for the CBI test. You have to clear the Civil Service exam so as to join CBI. UPSC conducts the exam annually mostly in the month of November. You can procure forms from the General Post Offices in each district. Forms will be available only for a limited period. It will be issued in the February / March months every year. Duly filled in forms should be submitted to the UPSC official address. For more details, visit the authorized site of UPSC. You can purchase and refer specialized books available in books stores as part of preparation for the test. You can also work out the preceding years question papers for getting much confidence so as to attend the mains. All the best |

sir, for the CBI exam the various eligibilities are.

CBI functions under Ministry of Personnel. Its recruitement is done by UPSC.
