1. Indian Economic Services.
2. Indian Engineering services.

1. Indian Economic Services
The notification for the examination will be published on 30th July, 2011.
Last date to apply for the same is 29th August, 2011.
The examination will start on 03rd December, 2011 (Duration 3 days).

2. Indian Engineering Services
The notification for the examination published on 08th January, 2011.
Last date for the receipt of application is 07th February, 2011.
The examination will be scheduled on 14th May, 2011.

The IES exam is conducted the UPSC or the Union Public Serivice Commission of India.

You can obtain the form online by logging onto:

www.upsconline.nic.in

The cost of the form is Rs.50 for online application.
No fees required to be paid by Females/SC/ST/physically handicapped candidates.

You can pay the fees in Cash by taking a print of the pay in slip. You can pay the fees by using the pay-in slip at any branch of the State Bank of India.

The last date for the submission of form is 7th february 2011, so you have to hurry up so that you do not miss the deadline and apply before it.

The exam will be held on 14 may 2011 across 3 days.

Please ensure that you fulfill all the eligibility criteria before applying
since admission to all the stages of the examination is provisional
and in case you are found not to fulfill the criteria your candidature will stand cancelled.
You must be between 21-30 years of age.

--you can apply for IES offline or online.For offline application get the form from post office and send it to UPSC.

For online application go to the site https://www.upsconline.nic.in/mainmenu2.php

--there are two parts of registration and the links are given there fill in registration form part 1 first by filling in the required details like your name address etc. after this you will get a registration number,note the number.

--After this go to the second part fill in the registration number received in part 1 and your date of birth.Follow the instructions.And your form is filled.

Indian Engineering Service (IES) exam is conducted by UPSC in every year. If you wan to apply for IES exam in 2011 then go on the website of UPSC

You can apply online on the above website. If you want to apply offline then you can obtained the application form at the head post office in your city.

ies exam conduct by upsc .
for this you should be graduate in engineering degree .
your age between 21 to 30 year if you from general, if you from obc than your age between 21 to 33 year and if you from sc/st than your age between 21 to 35 year .
in this exam you can appear 4 time if you from general , if you from obc than you can appear 7 time and no limit for sc/st candidate .
