UPSC conducts Food Inspector Exam for recruitment of Food Inspectors in India.

Currently, notifications for UPSC Food Inspector Exam are not out.

For regular updates, you must check official site of UPSC i.e.: www.upsc.gov.in

To be eligible for this exam, candidates must possess anyone of the following qualification-

• Bachelor course in any science stream with Chemistry as a compulsory subject
• Bachelor course in Agriculture/Public Wealth/Veterinary Science/Dairy/Food Technology/Pharmacy
• Graduate in Medicine with at least one year training

Age Criteria:
For General: 21 to 30 years
For OBC: 21 to 33 years
For SC/ST: 21 to 35 years

Exam Syllabus:

• English
• Numerical Ability
• General Knowledge

The duation of the exam is 150 minutes (2hr 30 minutes).

Negative Marking is also there in the exam.
