How to become an ACP officer? I have passed 10th with 53%


My aim is to become a acp officer or any govermenjob i hve passed 10th with 53% and 12% with 75% can i hope that i can get that?

To become an ACP officer,you have to appear for the UPSC Civil Services Exam in order to get selected as IPS officer .For that, you have to complete your Graduation first .

ACP stands for Assistant Commissioner of Police. There is no provision for direct recruitment for the post of ACP. The post of ACP is filled by IPS officers. IPS officers get promoted to ACP rank on the basis of their performance . To become an IPS officer,one has to write Civil Services Exam conducted by UPSC .

The eligibility criteria for the civil services exam are as under:-

-The candidate must be a citizen of India.

-The candidate should have completed graduation in any discipline from recognized college or university.

-The candidate age limit to apply for the exam should be from 21 years to 30 years for general category.Age is relaxed for OBC candidate by 3 years and 5 years for SC/ST candidates.

-Civil Services exam is conducted in three stages:

* Preliminary Exam,

* Main Exam, and

* Interview

ACP (Assistant Commissioner of Police) is one of the reputed post in police department. It's filled by two ways one is through promotion channel and second is through entrance exam UPSC or State PSC. So, you need to complete graduation in any discipline to apply for entrance examination UPSC or State PSC to become an ACP.

- Personal Interview/Group Discussion

First, you should clear the civil services examination which is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) and a candidate should have completed graduation degree with a minimum of 55% in any stream. thanks

ACP stand for ( Assistant Commissioner of Police)

To become an ACP officer you need to give a UPSC exam in which one needs to mention the IPS.

Qualification:Graduation Degree from a recognised University from any stream with minimum 55% or is in the last year of Graduation and is waiting for the result can also apply for the exam.

Stream: Science would be the best.
