To become a Customs Officer you have to pass the Civil Services Examination. The Civil Services Exam consists of Preliminary and Main Exam. A Bachelor’s degree with 55% of marks, in any stream is the basic qualification requirement and must be above 19 years. The job notification will be published in the employment news by the concerned authority.

u have to writte a exam called " civil service exam " & the final date's r 23 rd march 2011 for summiting u'r form's . for the form u neen to go to any post office and ask for civil service form & they will provide u fill up & send it.
there will b 2 exam's
prelimnary & main
if u cleared both this exam u will become custom officer.

hai,

To become income tax officer, there are two options -

Firstly, Apply for Civil Services Examination conducted by UPSC, after clear this exams you will be selected as Income Tax Officer in government department.

And secondly, Appear in the Combined Graduate level examination conducted by Staff Selection Commission SSC, to get selected in ITO.

So, S.S.C. conducts examination every year for recruitment to Income Tax Department. The examination is held once a year, generally in the month of April. So please always check the employement papers for more detail and if you have clear the written test and interview then you have selected as a Income Tax Officer.

The examination consists of -

Written examination

Interview for Personality Test for such candidates as may qualify in the written test.


The subjects of the examination are as follows-


General English

Arithmetical Ability

General Intelligence

General Awareness.

sir,i have completed in diploma in electronics and communication engineer passed out at the year of april 2011.what kind of knowledge accept in customs duty. then field is trained as trained after working in any processing section.iam very interested in customs duty. i should be prospect in very genuine and dress coding performance is neatly.you should appointed at any post.i can accepted in field knowledge at very short future.what i do,please gave me one chance.so please reply me,

To become customer officer either you should take up upsc exam(upsc.gov.in)(civil service exam) or ssc exam(ssc.nic.in)(combined graduate exam), from upsc you can become A-grade officer equivalent to ACP and from ssc you can become B-grade office equivalent to (SI or inspector)

Hi Sir ....Is there any job in custom department after MBA (Marketing & HR) .
If any one is below 50% in Graduation and if he is more than 60% in PG in this case Is he eligible for post of Custom officer.
Is there is any other exam (expect upsc) held by custom department for any other post expect custom officer.
