To become a Customs Officer you have to pass the Civil Services Examination. The Civil Services Exam consists of Preliminary and Main Exam. A Bachelor’s degree with 55% of marks, in any stream is the basic qualification requirement and must be above 19 years. The job notification will be published in the employment news by the concerned authority.

u have to writte a exam called " civil service exam " & the final date's r 23 rd march 2011 for summiting u'r form's . for the form u neen to go to any post office and ask for civil service form & they will provide u fill up & send it.
there will b 2 exam's
prelimnary & main
if u cleared both this exam u will become custom officer.

hai,

To become income tax officer, there are two options -

Firstly, Apply for Civil Services Examination conducted by UPSC, after clear this exams you will be selected as Income Tax Officer in government department.

And secondly, Appear in the Combined Graduate level examination conducted by Staff Selection Commission SSC, to get selected in ITO.

So, S.S.C. conducts examination every year for recruitment to Income Tax Department. The examination is held once a year, generally in the month of April. So please always check the employement papers for more detail and if you have clear the written test and interview then you have selected as a Income Tax Officer.

The examination consists of -

Written examination

Interview for Personality Test for such candidates as may qualify in the written test.


The subjects of the examination are as follows-


General English

Arithmetical Ability

General Intelligence

General Awareness.

To become customer officer either you should take up upsc exam(upsc.gov.in)(civil service exam) or ssc exam(ssc.nic.in)(combined graduate exam), from upsc you can become A-grade officer equivalent to ACP and from ssc you can become B-grade office equivalent to (SI or inspector)

Airport Customs Officer falls under ‘Group A’ or ‘Class 1’ Officers in Indian Administrative Service. Selection of eligible candidates to this post is carried out through Civil Services Examination (CSAT). Graduation in any stream from a recognized educational institution is the basic qualification required to attend the exam. Those who pass CSAT can get in to the role of Customs Officer under Indian Customs and Central Excise Service (IC&CES) and you have secure minimum 55% marks in any degree xam. you should complete bachlor degree from recognize university.Age limit not more than 30 .

Those who have completed their bachelor degree from a recognized institute are eligible to apply for the post. The qualifying degree must be obtained in any stream with minimum 55% marks. Those who have completed 21 years of age are only eligible to apply for the post of Customs Officer. Upper age limit of the applicant is 30 years. you should gualify CSAT EXAM.
