The procedure to become an Airport Custom Officer are as follows:-
-The candidate has to clear civil services exam conducted by UPSC to get into the Indian Customs and Central Excise Services.
-The candidate should have completed graduation from a recognized university with minimum 55% of marks.
-The minimum age required to apply for the exam is more than 19 yrs of age.
-The exam procedure comprises of Preliminary exam and Main exam followed by the interview.
-The candidate should be a citizen of India.
-The candidate must have ability to work in flexible schedules,must pass an extensive background check,should posses driving licence,should not have had drugs of any kind and should posses the aptitude to cooperate and communicate with the community.
