as i am doing my B.Tech IT 3rd year..i am very much interested to work as a airport customs officer so pls help me sir?

To become a custom officer you must be a 12th pass to graduate or post graduate.you should have some interest in the law & have an ability to questioning persons & must be an Extrovert one.you must be physical fit & have a good command in English conversation.As you are a B.Tech student so u are eligible for it.

In order to become a customs officer you should have completed a minimum of 19 years. Also you need to have completed your graduation with minimum of 55% marks. You will be required be required to qualify for the UPSC entrance exam. It is very important to have a good knowledge in GK area. Reading newspapers is very important. The exam will also have questions in the Mathematical area.

Customs officers are a governmental service, similar to the police, you train as a officer and then get a posting it could be an airport but it could be anywhere really. You then apply for an airport posting. you just have to give the normal testing procedure for customs department (general) and a fitness certificate.

For the you should have the 12th and any degree , so that you can shine well, but more then that you should need the Public knowledge and thinking power and good relation with higher authority, so that only you can get the job soon

Seeing these Information and Eligibility Criteria, you need at least 55% in Bachelor's degree.It seems you are not eligible, First complete your Graduation in any field. Then apply for the same.

In Civil Services Exam you will face One Preliminary Exam And if you get success in

Customs officers mainly take care of import and Export materials.

To get into Airport Customs officer you need to qualify Civil Services Exam conducted by upsc.

Eligibility criteria are :-

must have acquired a basic age of 19 years.
and A bachelor's degree with 55% marks.

now i'm studing 12th std. to become a customs officer what can i do for it?

there is two ways to become a customs officer. one is by promotion from inspector of customs who will be appointed by the staff selection commission from which you have to opt for customs inspector in the application process itsle.f

second one is a junior IRS officer will be appointed as Customs officer in big customshouses like mumbai etc, and the IRS as everybody knows, will be confered by the coveted Civil Services examination conduted by the UPSC
