Quote:
the first step to become a cardiologist is your eligibility: * you should be a PCB student * you should be a pass candidate in 12th board exams. next is to select the under graduate course for it. it is MBBS.. you can become a cardiologist only after completion of MBBS degree.. once you complete MBBS successfully, you can do specialization in cardiology.. MBBS is one of the best courses after 12th.. it is a high income job.. like this, engineering is also having very good scope... there are different branches of engineering which will provide job in different fields of engineering... |

You can join this course after completing your 12th in main subject physics, chemistry, biology. after you have to give comman entrance exam (PMT). If you want to do master in cardiologist, you have sucessfully completed MBBS with two year experiance. |

Cardiologist in simple language is the term for heart specialist. Before I get down to the procedure to become Cardiologist, I should point out that the procedure is very long which is why you have huge shortage of Cardiologists in the country.
Generally it is believed that Cardiologist performs heart surgery. While it is true but that is done in extreme cases. The first priority of Cardiologist is to change your diet and lifestyle to ensure healthy heart. Cardiologist is trained to treat various heart conditions some of which are extremely critical that no other doctor can handle. Cardiologist generally starts with making lifestyle changes of the patient in the early stage. The area of experise are Valvular Heart Disease Electrophysiology Coronary Artery Disease Heart Failure Congenital Heart Defects Cardiologist also conducts wide range of tests related to stress tests, radiology studies and coronary blockages. Eligibility/Procedure 1. You should have completed 12th standard. 2. Subjects should be PCB. 3. Apply for the UG-NEET for MBBS course. 4. You will follow MBBS with MD course which has duration of 3 years. 5. It will be followed by DM in Cardiology. The duration of this course too is 3 years. Upon completing you will become Cardiologist. |

First of all you have to complete MBBS and after that specialize in Cardiology to become a successful Cardiologist.
For MBBS course you must be 10+2 pass with Physics , Chemistry and Biology. The admission into MBBS course is based on entrance examination and you have to get a very good rank then only you can get admission into top medical college. NEET is conducted on All Indian Level for MBBS admission by CBSE. The questions in NEET will be objective type in nature and will be from subjects like Physics, Chemistry , Zoology and Botany. There will be negative mark for wrong answers and you have to be very careful while attempting answers. After MBBS completion you have to opt for Specialization Post Graduation in Cardiology. After completion of specialization you can practice as an Cardiologist. |
