If you want to become Collector or District Comisioner, than you ahve to clear the UPSC Civil Services Exams.
Under UPSC , you should be selected for the Indian Administrative Services (IAS) Eligibilty for the UPSC Civil Services Exams: Education- Graduation Pass in any stream Age- Minimum 21 years Maximum 30 years Maximum 33 years for the OBC Candidates Maximum 35 years for the SC/ST Candidates General candidates gets 4 chances, OBC gets 7 chances and SC/ST can apply as many times as they can till the maximum age limit set for them. Next UPSC Prelims Exams will be held on 19th MAY 2013 Notifications for this exam will come out on 2nd February 2013 Last date to apply is 4th March 2013 |

Become a District Collector first you can crack for IAS services
IAS Stands for Indian Administrative Service , This Examination is conducted by Union Public Service commission Eligibility Criteria for Civil Examination : - ** You must have a bachelor of degree in any stream from any recognized university ** Your age should between 21 to 30 years, and age relaxation for SC/ST/ OBC candidates as under For SC/ST candidates 5 years relaxation For OBC Candidates 3 years relaxation ** You should be a citizen of India Selection Procedure : - 1.
