Re: Is there any way to become a collector after completion of diplom
Sorry diploma pass cannot become a collector hence you are not eligible to become a collector.
To become a collector you must pass graduation in any discipline and apply for IAS/IPS exam which is conducted by UPSC. UPSC is Union Public Service Commission and conducts the IAS exam. There are many other exams also conducted by UPSC like IES, IFS, NDA, CDS, SCRA etc. The age limit for IAS exam is 21 to 30 years if you are general category. Age relaxation for specific category is available. So if you want to become a collector then you must apply for Graduation course and complete it to apply for IAS exam. As you are diploma candidate hence you will get lateral entry into B.tech. 2nd year. You can apply for entrance test for lateral entry into engineering graduation. If you do engineering graduation then it will increase your scope in private jobs. For more information visit http://upsc.gov.in |

hi,
the minimum required educational qualification to become a district collector is graduation in any discipline, so you are not eligible for this exam. i would suggest you to complete your graduation and then start your preparation for civil services examination. best of luck. |
