to become a locapilot RRB consists a Assistant locopilot exam & the minimum qualification is that-
1. Age :18 to 30 years
2. edu qualification: matriculation or its equivalent under 10 +2 system and course completed act .Apprentice or I.T.I in any of the following specific tradesrecognised by SCVT/NCVT:
fitter, electrician, wireman etc.
or diploma in electrical,mechanical electronics, automobile engineering.

to become loco pilot in indian railway, firstly you have to do ITI in mechanical after 10th class.After doing ITI you have to appear in the exam of railways for driver(locopillot) conducted by various railway recruitment board.After qualifying in this exam, you will become loco pilot in indian railway.

The job of Loco Pilot is one of the worst kind of job one can find in India. Indian railway is the one of the worst employer in India. Management lacks professionalism and the working environment does not inspire but generate cynicism. If possible, it is always better to stay away from railways. It degenerate those who are part of it.

I will guide you show to become a Loco Pilot.
1. You should pass at least 10th std or 2
2. In addition to that you should have any authorized govt certificate from a recognized institute {PASS}.
3. ITI in {Electrical,fitter,Mechanical,Automobile,Wireman,T urner,AC. Mechanic,Motor Vehicle.Instrument Mechanics etc.{OR} 3 yrs Diploma in Mechanical,Electrical & Automobile.
4. Electronics and communications will not eligible for this job.
5.Age should be from 21 to 30.

SELECTION THEORY:
1. Written Test in Mixed Paper about: Electrical, Mechanical , Physics & General Knowledge with Attitude Test. Once you passed in this exam you will be called for Medical test.
2. Medical Test: Blood test, Physically handicap test, Testis test apart from that you will go for EYE Sight test. Once you clear in this test you will go for one short psychometric test written general interview with senior railway recruitment officers to check your best attitude and character.
3. Then you will be called for the job training this will go for under 1 month.
4. After the training you will be placed as a assistant loco pilot for goods carrier loco. From there you will be placed in passenger loco after some time.
