Re: How to become a Pilot after doing 12th with Inter Arts?
I am afraid but you can not become commercial pilot. It is only possible for the Science stream students to apply for the commercial pilot course. Unfortunately you are doing 12th standard with Arts subjects.
Which means it is impossible for you to apply for the Commercial pilot course. I will strongly recommend you to consider some other course. Please check out the criteria of Commercial pilot course below. Eligibility 1. You must complete 12th standard. 2. Subjects should be Physics, Chemistry and Maths. 3. At least 50 percent marks in 12th. 4. Age limit is 18 years to 30 years. 5. Your height should at least be 5 feet. 6. Your vision should be 6/6 to become pilot. 7. You can wear glasses if the eye sight is correctable to 20/20. 8. You can not wear contact lens or undergo lasik surgery. 9. You should not have fear of heights. Those who meet this criteria can go ahead to apply for the commercial pilot course. Firstly they need to obtain Student's Licence which is obtainable after completing 10th standard. There is simple Maths test to clear. Next stage is Private Pilot Licence for which it is necessary that you have completed 12th standard and also meet all the above mentioned criteria. You will take flying lessons to get this licence. You will even have to get solo flying experience. The last stage of Commercial Pilot Licence. Only after obtaining it, the candidate becomes eligible to apply for pilot job in airlines. |
