sir , i am amit rathour . i have myopia with glasses of 5 power. so , am i fit for NDA exam and also my father is retired subedar.

Re: Appearance for NDA exams

To join National Defence Academy a candidate have to appear in the exam.

Conducted by Union Public Service Commission, New Delhi twice a year. The

Union Public Service Commission is responsible for issuing guidelines for selection

and the final conduct of the entrance examination.

The Eligibility Criteria (As obtained from official recruitment website of the Indian Army)

Age between

16 1/2 to 19 yrs of the first day of the month in which course is due to commence.

Qualification

12th Class of 10+2 System of Education/Equivalent for Army and with Physics

and with Physics and Maths for AF/Navy

Marital Status

Unmarried

Application to be received by

As per UPSC notification

Likely SSB date

Sep to October and Jan to April

Jan and July

NDA, Khadakwasla, Pune

Duration of Training

3 Yrs at NDA and 1 Yr at IMA( For Army cadets)/

3 Yrs at NDA and 1 & 1/2 Yrs at AFA Hydrabad ( For AF cadets)
