sir i am a C.A. student and i have completed my b.com from correspondence . sir can i apply for income tax officer exam.

YES, you can apply .
Even if you have done your graduation through distance learning mode you are eligible to apply for the exam.

You have to appear in the SSC Combined Graduate level exams.

Eligibilty is:
Graduation pass in any stream.
Final year Graduation students cannot apply
No minimum marks is required in graduation

Age of the candidates should be between 18 to 27 years
OBC gets 3 years age relaxations
SC/ST gets 5 years age relaxations

This exam is held in three stages:
Tier 1, tier 2 and Interview

2013 exams are scheduled for 14th and 21st april 2013
last date to fill forms is 15th february 2013
