NDA stand for National Defence Service Exam.This exam is conduct twice time in a year. NDA Examination is conducted in 3 wings -Indian Air Force , Indian Navy and Indian Army .

Eligibility Criteria for NDA exam : -

1 )Those candidate have completed 12th standard are applicable for NDA Exam .

(Non Physics and Mathematics in 12th subject candidate can apply in Indian Army post.)

2)Final year of 12th standard candidate are applicable for NDA exam.

3)No , Percentage criteria .

4)Having Citizenship of India .

5)Unmarried male candidate are applicable.

6)Your age should be in between 16.5 to 19 years old .There is no age relaxation provide for reserved candidate .

There is no age relaxation provide for reserved candidate .If you have completed 11th standard then only you are applicable for NDA exam otherwise not.

Your age is over 18 years old in April so you are now applicable for NDA exam

The selection procedure for NDA exam is 1) Written Test 2)Physical Test 3)Medical 4) Personal Interview.

The exam notification for NDA II exam is given below

Date of notification: 04th May, 2013
Last date for receipt of applications: 03rd June, 2013, Monday.
Date of commencement of exam: 11th August, 2013, Sunday.

From this year NDA application form must be submitted by only online system. The fees for NDA exam is 50/- . You can be paid the amount through SBI Debit/Credit Card or by SBI Net Banking or by depositing directly in SBI .

NDA stands for National Defense Academy

You have to clear your 12th Std then you should have to apply for NDA.....


NDA exam is conducted in Three Wings:

1. Indian Army
2. Indian Navy
3. Indian Air Force

A candidate must have completed their 12th Std from recognized Board are apply for it (only Indian Army post)....

A candidate must have completed their 12th science with the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Maths from recognized Board (Air Force And Navy)...

Final years of 12th Std also eligible for it.....

There are No any Percentage criteria....

Age of candidate should be between 16 1/2 to 19 years , There is no age relaxation provide for reserved candidate.....

Only Unmarried Male are eligible for it.....

A Candidate have nationality of INDIA...

You can not apply for NDA Being Candidate of 11th Standard.....

According to the Qualification require for the NDA a candidate must
have complete their 12th Std in Science Stream with the subjects of
Group-A (Physics, Chemistry and Maths)......

Age of candidate should be between 16.5 to 19 years....

Only Unmarried Male candidate can apply for this....

A candidate must have Nationality of INDIA....

No any age Relaxation is available for Reserved category.....

So, Don't worry You are Eligible for it after completing your 12th then
you can apply for this examination......


But, Since you become 18th this year so next year is your last chance
for applying this exam so, prepare well for it......

There is no chance to Join in NDA with 11th standard

Because the minimum educational Qualification for NDA is 12th standard

If you are interested to Join in NDA , you can must satisfy some eligibility criteria which is required for NDA EXamination

Examination Pattern

Dear Friend,

The Acronym "NDA" stands for National Defense Academy. The NDA Examination is conducted every year by the Union Public Service Commission two times in April and August through which candidates who are interested in joining defense can join any of the following wings :

* Indian Army

* Indian Navy

* Indian Air Force

As you have recently passed the 11th standard and moved on to 12th as well as your age is 18 years but you cannot apply for the NDA Exam 2013 which is going to be conducted in the month of April.

However , you can appear in the NDA-I Exam , 2013 which will be conducted in the month of august.

The Qualifications Required for NDA Exam are :

A) Educational Qualifications :

* You must have passed 12th with PCM from any recognized board.

* If you have passed 12th from any other stream then you can apply only for Indian Army.

* Candidates appearing in 12th standard are also eligible but their eligibility is limited to NDA-I Exam only.

B) Age Limit :

* Your age should lie in between 16.5-19 years.

* No Relaxation in upper age is given to candidates of any category.

c) Nationality :

* You must be a citizen of India.

D) Sex :

* You must be a male candidate.

* Girl Candidates are not eligible for the NDA Exam.

E) Marital Status :

* You must be unmarried.

F) You must be physically and mentally fit for the exam.
