I am in class 11 having PCM .my cgpa was 9.8 . When can I apply for NDA and how?

12th pass is the basic qualification for NDA. Students going to appear for final board exam (of 12th class) can also apply. Applications can be forwarded through the web portal of UPSC. Exam covers questions on mathematics and general aptitude. Further details on exam and application process can be collected from UPSC portal.

You are now in 11th standard so at this time you are not applicable for NDA exam but after completion 11th standard you are eligible to apply for NDA exam .Means when you are in 12th standard you can apply for NDA exam.

Because those candidate have completed 12th standard are applicable to apply in NDA exam .NDA Exam not require any kind of percentage marks in 12th .Final year candidate also can apply .

Your age should be in betweeb 16.5 to 19 years old.Age ralaxation is not provide for reserved category .

You must have citizenship of India and you are from unmarried male candidate .

Selection process for NDA recruitment -Written Test , Physical Test , Medical Test and Personal Interview .SSB conduct this process in SSB center .

You can apply for the NDA exams when you have reached class 12th.
Or after passing class 12th.

NDA exams are conducted by UPSC Two times in a year
Only MALE candiadtes can apply for the NDA exams.

Below is the Eligibilty that one should meet to apply for this exams:
12th pass for the Army wing
12th pass with Phy and Maths as subjects for the Airforce and Navy wing

Age- Minimum 16.5 years
Maximum 19 years

You are not eligible to apply for NDA after 11th PCM as the minimum academic qualification for NDA is 12th standard.

NDA - National Defence Academy, the entrance exam for which is conducted by UPSC twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II for an entry in to Indian Army, Navy and Air Force wing of NDA.

The eligible candidate must be an unmarried Indian Male having either appear for the final 12th exam or pass in any stream from a recognised Board within the age of 16.5 to 19 years with good Physical and Mental Fitness.

As currently you are in 11th standard , you are not eligible for the NDA Exam.

The minimum educational qualification that you should have is 12th from any recognized board with PCM as your main subjects.

Also , those candidates who are currently appearing in 12th standard are eligible but only for NDA-I examination.

The Exam is conducted twice every year as NDA-I and NDA-II in April and August respectively.

The Qualifications Required for NDA Examination are :

NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY

After passing 11th you are eligible for N.D.A exam.
You are not eligible for N.D.A exam while pursuing 11th class.
N.D.A exam is conducted by U.P.S.C twice in a year.
In month of and April and August.
Eligibility criteria:-
> Pass 12th with recognized university
> Age limit:-16.5-19 year.
> Must be citizen of India
> Medically fit

There are three steep of selection:-
> Written Exam
> Interview
> Medical exam
