Hai friends my name is sreekanth...iam studying B tech first year in iiit nuzvid krishna dist...my question is "How to become an cbi officer".what are the qualifications required for that job...how to prepare for that exam...please answer me friends..

The candidate who wishes to become a CBI officer has to appear in the UPSC exam and clear all the levels of the selection procedure .

The selection procedure passes throygh the following stages :-

Written Examination,

Physical Test, and

Personality Interview .

The eligibility criteria required to appear for the exam are as under :-

-The candidate must have citizenship of India.

-The candidate must have passed graduation in any discipline with minimum 55% marks from a recognized university.

-The candidate age limit to apply for the exam should be between 20 years to 30 years at the time of application .There is relaxation in upper age limit for reserved category candidates as per the rules of the govt.

The syllabus for CBI officer exam are :

- General Intelligence

- General Awareness

- Reasoning

- Quantitative Aptitude

- English Comprehension

CBI i.e Central bureau of Investigation is one of the a specialized wing in India.

To join in CBI you need to write the CGPE EXAM also called SSC conducted by UPSC
every year for recruitment in the CBI.

Educational Qualification :-

You must posses degree of a recognized University.

You should be between 20-25 years.

The examination is done in three phases ::


Written test
Interview
Medical Test

i have got 93.8% in XII CLASS IN COMMERCE WITHOUT MATHS.CAN I GET ADMISSION IN DELHI UNIVERSITY CAMPUS??
