What is the procedure to join as a CBI Officer? What are the criteria's that are necessary to become a CBI Officer? Please Explain me about the Preparation of CBI and IAS?

How to become a CBI officer -

To become a CBI officer, then you have to appear the exams conducted by UPSC. And This exams is held generally once a year for the post of Sub-Inspectors of Police in Central Bureau of Investigation and the application forms and other particulars are published in the Employment News in the month of October.

Eligiblity -

If you have completed your bacholar degree, then you are eligible for appear in this exams. But your age is between 20 to 25 years, only then you are eligible.

To become a CBI officer you have to appear for a combined graduate level exam of SSC(Staff selection commitee)

The exam is conducted by Indian govt. The exam has 4 stages which also have soem physical tests wherein you will be tested on the basis of your height,weight eyesight etc

You have to get 50% or more in your graduation so you are eligible

The minimum educational qualification required to write the exam is a bachelor's degree from a recognised institute.
To be eligible, you must have attained the age of 20 years and must not be over 27 years.
The maximum eligible age for SC/ST candidates is 32 years and for OBC candidates is 30 years.
The recruitment advertisement is published in "Employement News".
The very first stage of the examination is called the preliminary exam. Candidates who cracks this stage qualifies for the main exam. The main exam is followed by physical test and interview.

yea, you can get a c.b.i post... but only if u have good knowledge they will conduct a entrance exam test staff selection department... if u get good marks u have to go for the physical test in which they will check your health ,height, weight ,eye power and your stamina.....better start preparing from now on and you will get it

To become a CBI you need to go through a Combined Graduate Level Examination of Staff Selection Commission that is conducted by Government of India and it has 4 stages and you need to clear each of these or will be eliminated. Apart from that there are some physical requirements that you need to fulfill like the height must be minimum 165 cm and chest 76 cms.

definitely, you can be CBI Officer after your graduation.

as minimum qualification graduation is require to attain in the CBI Officer exam.

and minimum 60% marks in graduation is require to attain in the CBI Officer exam.

age limit for CBI Officer exam is 21-29 years.

For CBI officer u have to give the examination of SSC i.e Staff selection commision, after clearing the written examination there's a GD and PI i.e group discussion and prsonal interview. Another exam is conducted by upsc u can visit the official website of upc for the same..

First you will have to complete your Bachlors degree with atleast 50% marks than you will have to appear in Combined Graduate Level Examination which is conducted by SSC. GOOD LUCK

for being a cbi officer you need at least bachelor degree then you can apply for it . then you need to crack this exam .

I am 23 year old and going to complete MMC (Master in Mass Communication) in July - August 2011 and I am keen interested to be a CBI Officer. I got 50% marks in graduation consists subjects - History & Public Aministation.

I am also persuing MA in Public Administration and I was a NCC Cadet in college & had obtain NCC "B" & "C" Cert in B grade.

Now I am working in one private company in Chd. and also preparing for Civil Service. Hence I would like to know that what are procedure for girls (hEIGHT & wEIGHT) to be CBI Officer and what are career scopes and am I eligible for this and would I get any benefit of NCC Certificates. And also please let me know how should I prepare for this exam.

As I am aware that I have to appear for exam but give me some books references from which I can study. And also guide me as my MMC is going to be completed but side by side I would lie to continue my study and what should I do next which will be benefit for me to get theCivil Service Job.

Eligibility Criteria:-To join CBI you need to appear for CGPE exam i.e. Combined Graduate preliminary Exam which is conducted by SSC board every year.

QUALIFICATION: Minimum Qualification is Graduation in any Discipline.

AGE: You should be in between 20 to 27 years of Age. & special Relaxation is given to SC/ST which is 5 years and For OBC 3 years.

If you come under SC/ST/OBC then you are eligible as age relaxation is given..

QUALIFICATION:
Graduation in any Discipline.

AGE: You should be in between 20 to 27 years of Age.

-> Relaxation is given to SC/ST is 5 years
->Relaxation For OBC 3 years

To become an CBI officer you must write an entrance exam which belongs to the UPSC named as CGPE(combined graduate preliminary exam)

if u r a obc or sc/st then u can apply for the exam... otherwise u may try any other government job. hard work s very important for u.
